The Ned Kelly Discovery Hub tells the dramatic story of the Glenrowan Siege, a pivotal moment in Australian history that unfolded just across the railway tracks on June 28, 1880. This 12-hour gun battle between the notorious Kelly Gang and police marked the end of the bushranger era, leading to major police reforms and leaving a lasting impact on Victoria’s frontier history.

Collaborators

During its development, the Ned Kelly Discovery Hub collaborated closely with Heritage Victoria, the local community, the families of the Victorian police officers involved in the siege, the descendants of the Kelly Gang, and the Traditional Owners of the land on which the Hub stands.
