Wangaratta Symphony Orchestra live

In this concert, Wangaratta Symphony Orchestra is exploring the world of myths and legends. Musical excerpts will include music from the Greek legend "Orpheus in the Underworld" by Offenbach, Grieg's Norwegian "Peer Gynt", Beethoven's "Prometheus", and the exciting opera "Carmen" by Bizet.  

Music from modern epic films will also feature, such as Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Lord of the Rings.  For children, there  are themes from "How to train your dragon" and The Chronicles of Narnia".  WSO has now been performing for four years, growing and developing in that time to a competent 40 piece group.  This concert is not to be missed!
