To celebrate 25 years since the inaugural Across the Arts Festival, held in 2000, GANEAA will offer workshops across all art forms, including textile weaving, fabric dyeing, sculpture, wood carving, jewellery making, pastels, printmaking, digital photography through mobile phones, techniques for writing biographies or family histories, songwriting, guitar techniques, a big band workshop looking at improvisation techniques, indigenous dance classes, a concert involving the music facilitators and some of the workshop participants.

All workshops will be held in a friendly, inclusive environment in the Wangaratta Centre for Adult Education, where mutual encouragement should prevail, friendships made, and future artistic collaborations. The invited facilitators have been drawn from well-respected local and visiting art facilitators, the works of one of whom, Blake Griffiths from Sydney, will be on display at a one-person exhibition in the Wangaratta Art Gallery during the Across the Arts Festival.

The planned schools' programme will introduce or enhance the students' knowledge and understanding of 1st Nations' culture with dance and boomerang workshops by Kevin Cooper, a member of the local Bpangerang community and a ceramic 'knee pots' workshop based on the design concept by FNQ potter Thancoupie who was a major contributor to the design and construction of the Benalla Ceramic Wall.
