ACHE's vision is to connect people to Aboriginal culture through sharing ancient stories and knowledge. Visitors will have an opportunity to experience walking on country with Traditional owners to view country through a cultural lens. Learn how to identify culturally significant sites, trees and the local history and stories of the Bangerang people. Visitors will learn about traditional country management tools and methods to encourage healing people through healing country - an ancient Aboriginal core value and teaching. Visitors will learn a range of country knowledges by walking side by side with Aboriginal Elders, including bush tucker and medicine knowledges, the importance of caring for country and traditional ways of living.

ACHE offers a wide range of consultancy services including welcome to country ceremonies, smoking ceremonies, guest speaking, cultural talks and walking tours, cultural awareness training and cultural immersion tours on the Murray river.

Options

Visitors will learn about traditional country management tools and methods to encourage healing people through healing country - an ancient Aboriginal core value and teaching. Visitors will learn a range of country knowledges by walking side by side with Aboriginal Elders, including bush tucker and medicine knowledges, cultural trees of significance and traditional use of the place.

The tour includes a welcome and smoking ceremony followed by a didgeridoo performance before a guided walk through a site that is significant to the Bangerang people.
