Oxley Flats Road is a flat but windy road with a series of s bends. It can be busy at times.

Pedal to the Produce!! This is a ride through flat terrain which offers many opportunities to explore wineries and local food producers.  

Directions:
Start from Batchelor Green, Tone Rd, Wangaratta

0.0 km start at bike path at Batchelors Green turn right to go under the road.  Continue along the bike path.
3.0 km Turn left at the T-intersection at Cribbes Rd. (the end of the path)
3.9 km Turn right at the T-intersection with Murdoch Rd.  Continue on this road accross the freeway overpass. 
7.7 km Turn right at the first turn over the overpass. This road is signpostsed Laceby South 12.  Pyles Lane, a quiet sealed road.
13.1 km Turn left at the Give Way sign, staying on the sealed road.  The sign reads Oxley 5.  This is the Glenrowan/Myrtleford Rd (Snow Rd) and can be very busy at times.
16.5 km This is an offset intersection.  Take the turn signposted to Milawa 6.
18.5 km At Oxley there are wineries, a store/cafe.  There are picnic spots on the river bank and in the town.  As you leave town take the off road bike path on the left hand side and continue to Milawa.
23.0 km Milawa  At the crossroads of Milawa there is the Milawa Gourmet Hotel, Milawa General Store, Milawa Bakery, Cafe Maddison, Milawa Mustards,Chrismont Wines and The Olive Shop.  (Turn right for a detour to Brown Brothers Winery.)
25.0 km Turn left for the return trip to Wangaratta.   Pass the old butcher shop on the left that now houses Ciccone Wines and onto the Milawa Cheese Factory complex on the right.  Here you will find not only cheese but also Wood Park Wines, The Muse Gallery, Milawa Chocolates and Eucalypt Woodworks.
33.8 km Freeway crossing.  Ovens Billabong on the right .  An ideal spot for a picnic or a swim. 
38.7 km.  Turn left, at the first roundabout in Wangaratta and on into the main street.  Continue through town on this road back to Batchelors Green.
